MEP Design

Moment Engineering provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs for both residential and commercial buildings. CASE STUDY: FOREST PARK MECHANIC’S SHOP

THE PROJECT

Moment Engineering was briefed to design a mechanic’s shop for a local business owner who had just bought an old grocery store to upgrade his business. As well as an extensive structural design, the heating, ventilation, and cooling systems were essential to the functionality of the shop.

THE DESIGN

The mechanic’s shop required a thorough lighting and hvac system to keep operating costs low, as well as general heating and cooling for comfort.

THE OUTCOME

We designed a system that included energy efficient led lighting, two roof top cooling units, and four heaters. This was to service the building’s office, body shop, break room and storage room.
